The Engagement Ring

The matriarch one century ago passed down to the last woman in the family tree.  She gave the ring to her son.  He would vow the ring as a token of beloved promise to his forever one.

The ring led to engagement.  The engagement led to the wedding.  The wedding led to marriage.  The marriage led to a growing family.

The bride became a wife and soon to become a mother.  She became the new matriarch with engagement ring to pass down from generation to generation.
