"Welcome to London," declared the flight attendant upon landing and resting at the gate.
A few passengers were relieved to be home from a stay in the U.S. Those few were in the States on business or for personal reasons. A few passengers were in London for business reasons. Most were in London for family vacation. A stray passenger was an official ex-patriot.
"Enjoy your stay," said the flight attendant to every passenger as they exited the plane. Of course, there was no way for her to know the reasons behind each passenger.
Let's focus on the tourists.
Tourists want to see everything - Warner Bros. Studio (Harry Potter fans), Buckingham Palace (residence of the Queen), London Eye (atop view), Sightseeing bus (alternative to sightseeing on foot), Madame Tussauds (lifelike wax figures of celebrities and royals), Tower of London, Kensington Palace (home to a few royals), Big Ben, and so much more!
Stay awhile.
Go shopping at Harrods. Look like the locals.
